Why Weekly Cleaning Matters in Hawaii
Hawaii’s tropical climate creates unique challenges for pool owners:
- Faster algae growth — Warm temperatures and humidity accelerate algae blooms
- More debris — Trade winds bring leaves, pollen, and dust into your pool daily
- Rapid chemical changes — Intense sun breaks down chlorine faster than on the mainland
- Year-round use — No off-season means consistent maintenance is essential
Skipping even one week of cleaning can lead to cloudy water, algae outbreaks, or equipment strain. Our weekly service ensures your pool stays ahead of these issues.
Our Cleaning Process
Step 1: Inspection We start each visit by assessing your pool’s current condition—water clarity, debris levels, and equipment operation.
Step 2: Surface Cleaning All floating debris is skimmed from the surface, and baskets are emptied.
Step 3: Deep Cleaning We brush the walls and tile, then vacuum the floor to remove settled debris and prevent staining.
Step 4: Water Testing Using professional-grade test equipment, we measure your water chemistry and adjust as needed.
Step 5: Documentation We track your pool’s condition and chemistry over time, catching trends before they become problems.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should my pool be cleaned?
In Hawaii's climate, we recommend weekly cleaning for most pools. The warm temperatures and constant debris require consistent maintenance to prevent problems. Skipping even one week can lead to algae growth, cloudy water, or chemical imbalances.
What if I'm not home during cleaning?
No problem. Most of our customers aren't home when we service their pools. We just need access to your pool area and equipment. We perform the same thorough service whether you're home or not.
Do you bring your own supplies?
Yes. We bring all necessary cleaning equipment and chemicals. You don't need to purchase or store anything. Most chemicals are included in your monthly service fee.
How long does a cleaning visit take?
We take our time and give every pool the attention it deserves. Larger or neglected pools may take longer initially. We never rush through a visit—every pool gets the time it needs.
What if my pool has an algae problem?
We can treat existing algae issues. Severe cases may require additional visits and chemical treatments before transitioning to regular maintenance. Green, yellow, and black algae each require different treatment approaches, and our CPO training means we know the right method for each.
What's the difference between pool cleaning and pool service?
Pool cleaning focuses on debris removal—skimming, brushing, and vacuuming. Our pool cleaning service goes beyond that to include water chemistry testing, chemical balancing, and equipment checks at every visit. It's complete pool care, not just cleaning.
Do you offer service for saltwater pools?
Yes. We service both traditional chlorine pools and saltwater pools. Saltwater pools still need regular cleaning, chemistry monitoring, and cell inspection. We also install and maintain salt chlorine generators.
